What is AMOLED capacitive touchscreen?

AMOLED stands for Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode. It is a display device technology used in smartwatches, mobile devices, laptops, and televisions. It is also a type of OLED display. AMOLED technology has continued to make progress toward low-power, low-cost, high resolution and large-size (for example, 88-inch and 8K resolution) applications.

With our mobile phone getting bigger and bigger in size, AMOLED type of display is a good option for manufacturers.

This is dynamic AMOLED displays used in Samsung Galaxy Note 10 smartphones.

"Super AMOLED" is a marketing term created by device manufacturers for an AMOLED display with an integrated digitizer. Means that the layer that detects touch is integrated into the screen, rather than overlaid on top of it. The display technology itself is not improved. According to Samsung, Super AMOLED reflects one-fifth as much sunlight as the first generation AMOLED.
